Membership of the Association of Painting Craft Teachers
Applications for all classes of membership must be proposed and seconded by fully paid-up members of the Association and put before the Executive Committee. All membership applications shall be ratified at the next General Meeting.
To apply for your membership, please read the options available below and select the most suitable choice.
Full membership £75
- Will be full time or part time teachers of Painting and Decorating
- Hold a City and Guilds Advanced Craft or S/NVQ Level 3 qualification in Painting and Decorating
- Shall be entitled to nominate, vote and hold any office.
Applicants who are unable to provide a seconder will be required to attend two Association meetings in order to generate a seconder.
Applicants who are unable to provide a proposer and seconder will be required to attend three Association meetings in order to generate a proposer and a seconder.
Affiliated membership £75
Persons who, through their occupation, have a keen interest in the teaching of Painting and Decorating.
Approval of Affiliated Members will be at the discretion of the Executive Committee and ratified at the next General Meeting.
Affiliated members shall not be entitled to hold office as President, National or Area Secretary, but shall be allowed to nominate and vote.
Centre membership £225
Centre Membership is open to all Centres and Colleges providing education and training in Painting Decorating.
- Each centre is allowed up to three members of staff either full time or part time.
- Each member of staff must be named on the application form.
- Each member of staff named on the application form will receive correspondence from the Association including the Artisan which is the Associations magazine.
- Centre members are not entitled to nominate or vote nor are they permitted to hold office in the Association.
- Centre members may transfer to full individual membership of the Association on payment of the full individual annual fee.
- Centre members may attend any event organised by the Association.
- If an attendance fee is required at an event organised by the Association the member attending is responsible for paying such fee.
Corporate membership
Approval of Corporate Members will be at the discretion of the Executive Committee and ratified at the next General Meeting.
Affiliated members shall not be entitled to hold office as President, National or Area Secretary, but shall be allowed to nominate and vote.
Honorary membership £15
Members who have retired from full time teaching and have been members of the Association for a continuous 20 year period or more.
